The architecture and framework for the script
The MakeContest script is an XHTML 1.1 based templating framework, based on PHP5 MVC architecture.

The script is 100% unencoded, and easily modified to suit your visual desire and business logic. The styles are provided by CSS stylesheets.

The administration panel is fully isolated from the front end.

The minimum requirements are PHP v 5.1 (v 5.2+ is highly recommended), and Mysql 4.0 with MyISAM capability.

Make Contest operates as an MCV (model-controller-view) framework, not within or under another framework such as CodeIgniter or Cake.

The templating framework is custom to Make Contest, and does not use any external frameworks like Smarty etc.
