OTHER FEATURES

Multi-template support

If you don’t like the template that comes with the “Make Contest” software you can easily create your own, upload it to your site and change the site’s look and feel from the back end. The themes consist of a CSS page, the header and footer HTML, theme-specific images, and any Java Script needed for the different menus. To make your own, copy those files into a folder with a new name, have a developer change them to suit your needs and point to the new template in the admin panel under Site Management > Site Settings > Theme Name.

Search Engine Optimization

As the admin, you can switch between standard (dynamic) and search-engine-friendly (static) URLs. This applies to the URLs of a front page, all contests, usersʼ profile pages, project launch page, FAQ, etc.

Customize keywords and description from the admin back end for better SEO rankings of your site. The front end titles are dynamic, with attention paid to keyword optimums.

  • Welcome message on user registration.
  • Emails to inform users about the state of the contest: new designs added to contest, contest open/closed, contest won/lost, etc.
